Armen has tried dozens of jury trials and hundreds of bench trials. Armen has also personally handled dozens of appellate cases to completion. His latest appellate victory was a published opinion that became a case of new impression in the family law area, (Safarian v. Govgassian, (2020) 47 Cal.App.5th 1053). Armen enjoys mentoring other attorneys and has co-counseled with many in the area of civil litigation with great success. Armen has been retained by many CAALA members and has successfully testified as an immigration expert assisting undocumented tort victims in obtaining damages related to future loss of earnings as well as future medical care. Armen served on the board of CAALA’s Board of Governors and was a recipient of the 2010 CAALA President’s Award. He is also a co-chairperson of the pro-bono committee of the Armenian Bar Association as well as a co-chairperson of the newly established Armenian Apostolic Church of Glendale. He is a former teacher of instrumental music (woodwinds), is married to his wife Natalie for 37 years, is a father of four children, and is a grandfather to two boys.   Languages Spoken: English, Armenian.
